Jim Lowe Director of Client Strategies

With an extensive background in management, research and strategic planning, Jim serves as our Director of Strategic Marketing. Jim has oversight of the agency's research design, analysis and the development of client marketing plans. The methods include, but are not limited to primary studies such as surveys, focus groups, ethnological methods, or secondary sources of market/industry information, and also with analytics by mining or appending to client databases.
Before joining JSA, Jim spent over 20 years in various roles with McClatchy Newspapers. Until 2005, he directed the Marketing Services departments of the Fresno Bee. Jim was recognized by the newspaper industry by winning the 5-Star Award, The California Newspaper Advertising Executives Association's highest professional honor.
Jim has a long connection to our agency. He began his career over 25 years ago as JSA's first student intern, while completing a practicum in media research as a Mass Communications student at California State University, Fresno. Jim holds a Certificate of Advanced Study in Data Modeling & Analysis from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Nationally, Jim is one of very few professionally certified statisticians by the Marketing Research Association on staff in an advertising agency.
