"The Need. The Vision. The Cure." was completed this month with over $4 million raised for the Emanuel Cancer Endowment. JSA is proud to have served as the campaign's PR arm for Legacy Circle, Emanuel Medical Center's annual giving program.

Cancer Survivor. These are among the strongest words in our vocabulary. It's hard to find a stronger tie that binds us all together. But cancer remains a word feared by many. It's a diagnosis that breaks perceived barriers of age, background or health. It affects not only the patient, but his or her spouse, parents, children and friends.

After raising funds for six weeks every year, over the past three years, Legacy Circle of Emanuel Medical Center has surpassed its $4 million goal to fully fund the Emanuel Cancer Endowment by raising $4,361,133. JSA is honored to have served as Legacy Circle's PR arm throughout the campaign, providing strategies and tactics to reach the objective of raising $4 million. From creating an electronic media kit and scheduling media tours to creating corporate outreach opportunities, JSA shares in Legacy Circle's victorious journey.

The Emanuel Cancer Endowment is a permanent fund that will generate a quarter of a million dollars annually for regional cancer services. The Emanuel Cancer Endowment will fund services such as: outreach and prevention, early detection, screenings, support groups, genetic risk assessment, counseling and testing, clinical research and participation in national clinical trials.
