The Junior Company Foundation is a non-profit educational foundation that was established in 1995 to provide scholarships and continuing education/training in the arts for past and present members of Good Company Players' Junior Company. The Foundation announces its scholarship winners once a year and conducts workshops and outings through the generous grants it receives from The Bertha and John Garabedian Charitable Foundation.

The founding board held a Junior Company Reunion in July 1996. Season Ticket holders and theater patrons were invited to support the Foundation's efforts by contributing to a Junior Company Wall of Honor that resided in the "Music Hall" and listed names of former and current Juniors, as well as Family, Founders, and Friends. Nanette Lyles, founding President, explains, "The Foundation is an excellent opportunity to 'give back' and say 'thank you' for the fine training, discipline and appreciation of the arts received from the Junior Company experience. With the community's support, this foundation provides education and further training to those young people interested in the arts".

In addition to Mrs. Lyles, the founding Board of Directors included Dale Blickenstaff, Judy Cavaletto, Armen Bacon, Carolyn Hayes, and Honorary Board member, three-time Broadway Tony Award-winner, Audra McDonald. Miss McDonald was also a former Junior Company member. Peter Nazaretian and Greg Grannis have also joined the Board.

The Junior Company Foundation is an independent, separate entity from Good Company Players, the Second Space and Roger Rocka's Dinner Theater. All donations go exclusively toward scholarships, unless otherwise directed.
